1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Taskam, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Taskam is a marketplace platform that connects customers who need cleaning services with independent cleaners and cleaning companies. We facilitate the connection but do not directly provide cleaning services.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You may not use another person's account without permission
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

4. For Customers

As a customer using Taskam:

• You agree to provide accurate job descriptions and photos
• You agree to pay for services upon satisfactory completion
• You will treat cleaners with respect and professionalism
• You are responsible for securing valuables during cleaning

5. For Cleaners

As a cleaner using Taskam:

• You represent that you have the skills and equipment to perform cleaning services
• You agree to honor accepted bids and complete jobs professionally
• You will maintain appropriate licenses and insurance as required by law
• You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Taskam

6. Payments

All payments are processed through our secure payment partner, Paystack. Taskam charges a service fee on each transaction. Cleaners receive payment after job completion is confirmed by the customer.

7. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel jobs before a cleaner is assigned without penalty. Cancellations after assignment may incur fees. Cleaners who repeatedly cancel accepted jobs may face account suspension.

8. Limitation of Liability

Taskam is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from the use of our platform or services provided by cleaners. We recommend customers verify cleaner credentials and reviews before booking.

9. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between customers and cleaners, Taskam will attempt to mediate. However, we are not obligated to resolve disputes and may, at our discretion, refund payments or take other action.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
